Thomas Hobbs : Human Nature

1.       Thomas Hobbs justified in his concept of human nature because nature can never be changed.but he admit that they become civilized and concluded a contact. How they changed their nature?
2.       Thomas hobbs has been criticized by many succeeding thinkers. His inflexible materialism leaves little scope. For freedom of human will. Hobbs is considered neither fully utilitarian nor fully idealist in his philosophical approach. The state of nature of Hobbs was a state of war of  all against all in which main principals are forced and fraud. Hobbs man in state of nature is anti-social. Is it possible that an antisocial man suddenly enters a state not of war but of peace, in which force and fraud are sit a side.
3.       According to Hobbs fear and danger compelled people living in the state of nature to subordinate themselves to vary powerful authority. In other words they willingly surrendered there liberties in favour of an absolute sovereign. Is it possible that a group of rats due to their common fear will accept the leadership of a cat? Therefore this theory is not natural and has no logical grounds.
4.       This theory is wrong because a contract is always between the two parties, but Hobbs contract is unilateral, even the ruler class is not a partner in the contract. This theory is against the basics principles of a contract. Therefor its base Is not strong.

5.       It is also unexceptable that people of the state of nature fully gave up there rights this concept is neither logical nor balanced. It is inbalance in the sense that in the state of nature person was fully  brutal and suddenly he became civilized.
